Maintenance Team


The company employs an experienced team of Maintenance Technicians to execute the Mechanical Services Preventative Maintenance programs which are not only an essential part of the BWOF (Building Warrant of Fitness) regime, but also give us the opportunity to provide our clients with exceptional the customer service they have been accustomed to.



 Clause G4 of the New Zealand Building Code states that the specified system - Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning is required to be maintained to a standard as part of the BWOF regime.  At McAra,  we feel that we provide an excellent service to our customers, well above the required level, with positive recommendation for rectification on all faults and non-compliance issues found during a visit.  Not only are faults with the MVAC under scrutiny but we also report to clients, whilst on the roof, the general condition of roofs and guttering.  Whilst in ceiling spaces, poor condition of light fittings plumbing and roof timbers will also be brought to the attention of the client.




In general, we attempt to provide a comprehensive customer service package for all our clients.  Annually, our maintenance regimes are reviewed and updated.  Results of fire damper tests and safety inspections are checked against compliance schedules to ensure that our customers always receive the most up-to-date information in the feedback report.




Our registered IQP assessor will issue a 12A certificate only to appropriately compliant buildings/tenancies.
